I'd like to be a curator because I've never had the chance to be on the home page. I like funny, creative, and fun projects. This is why i really badly want to be a Scratch curator. I usally pick at least 2 or 3 favorites anyway, so I will remember to refresh the projects on the home page. I hope I become a Scratch curator. smile

I want to be a curator so i could pick projects that are interesting and don`t have many views. I would choose projects appropriate for all ages and the Scratch community. I would also pick illusional projects and projects that take alot of hard work but don`t have many views. I would also make sure no spam comments are put on that project to keep from commercial spammers. Finally, i would not pick projects that bribe or threaten me unless i pick that project. Please pick me as a Curator. Thank You and Scratch on!

I think this is a great idea!
I like projects that are different. For example not just a racing car game, how about a 3D racing car game. I also like games with diversity, and are weird, cool, pretty much all projects are good in a sense. Animations and optical illusions are good too. But my favourite is 3D.

I would like to be a curator, not because I want people to notice me, but because i want the people on scratch who aren't as well known as the "famous" people to get some attention. And to make other people happy that they are noticed.

If I were curator I would never put famous peoples projects on the front page. Because its not fair! Only famous people get more famous. Thats not fair!!!! Thats why I should be curator. I would put peoples projects that I like and amazing and that get like 1 veiw! NO FAIR!

How do u help the scratch society? I think everyone should be curator for one day. not 2 weeks.then there is no chance for others. I dont think its fair for people that are famous to be put on the front pg again .They shouldnt.

i would like to be a curator, i like doing scratch projects and even though i am not the best scratcher in the world, i find out new things from learning.
i would not be corrupt and put projects on the front page just because people tell me to.

You help the Scratch community by showing projects that you like to everyone - most curators choose unknown projects. In two weeks, a curator can choose as many projects as they like - some people choose to update with a few projects every day, or every X days. It's generally frowned upon to curate one's own projects - so don't worry about people making themselves famous by curating their own stuff.

I may write some sort of speech for becoming a curator shortly smile

I think I am going to aply again- I'm 12three, one of the oldest active members on the site. I just had a project featured, and I'm really into getting unknown people famous. (I used to be really unpopular; 1-2 views per project), but now I'm moderately famous. I almost never put projects that have more than one hundred views in my favorites, so if you pick me, you wouldn't have to worry about already top loved or top viewed projects be on the front page again. I'd pick a variety of projects, but I'd have to say mostly projects that the creator put their time a heart into, that are below one hundred views. I think I am deserving of this honor also because I love Scratch, and I am very dedicated, and I never gave up, despite how unknown I was for the first year and a half. Although not many people know me personally, they would also say that I would be a great person for the job. I hope that you take me into consideration. smile
