How to Program in Squeak.

I was just wondering, how does someone program in Squeak and make a .image file?

If you mean off the scratch source code, you just download the file, extract it, edit the code, and save the image (option is in the world menu). Otherwise, download Squeak.

What is squeak exactly?
Sorry if it sounds nooby, but i've been hearing a lot about it...
I'm guessing its something to do with blocks and stuff but that's all  sad
