I think it sounds a lot better when some says "I modded your project" rather than "I remixed it"
Anyone with me?
I know, it may sound pointless, but I still think it would a worth while update so that remixing projects won't sound like remixing songs.

I don't really agree - I find remixes better than mods on projects. And if it would be changed, it would be "modifications" instead of "mods".
That's what I meant.
If you check a remix visualization, you'll notice it says /mods for the page's address.

That's fair enough. Though "remxing" kind of sounds like you're getting 2 different projects and mixing them together, rather than modifying the project.

I think saying "I modified your project" is better than "I remixed it".

Imagine a project titled, "Mod and add yourself Dancing".
Below a project, "10 love-its, 5 mods by 5 people..."
Wouldnt that be a little confusing?

And after all, isn't that was Scratch is all about? Making a simple programming language that anyone can understand?
....that seems really irrelevant...explain?
Well, if it's difficult to understand what it means, then it doesn't really go with the theme of Scratch

I remember it being changed to remixed since the older term sounded out of line. I forget, what the term was, modifications maybe? I am not sure.

Having "modified" or "modded" a project implies that you've actually changed the original project. The word "remix" describes the event perfectly, IMO.
"Remixing" sounds like your mixing 2 different projects together. Modifying it doesn't always have to mean you changed the whole thing, you just modified it in some way

The word remix sounds more streamlined. Modifying a project sounds like you're hacking into it...
Isn't that what you're (kinda) supposed to do when re-uploading somebody else's project?

Well, usually you're adding onto it.
Anyways, for me, "modding" a project sounds kinda illegal Remixing sounds encouraged

Remix sounds better to me. Anyway, if it was changed to mods, then there would be 3 definitions for the term and subsequently some confusion.
