Kokiri Village:
To start off, go follow the path until you reach a castle. Once inside the castle go south until you hit the very end of the castle. Make a left and go through a hole in the wall until you reach a secret room. Take the kokiri sword from the table. Now that you have the sword head back to where you started from until you reach a sign pointing towards the town. Now instead of going left towards where you came from, make a right and go towards a cluster of vines. Cut them using your sword, then go over a small lake using the bridge. Then go into the great fairy’s fountain. Here you will get the fire ability.
After this head south and do not turn to go into the castle. Instead follow another path that appears to the town. Once in town head to the second house (the blue one) and talk to your grandmother. She will give you the kokiri tunic. Then head left to the shop and claim the kokiri shield from the store owner. Afterwards head right (back past your grandmother’s house) and light the tough vines on fire. Then pass through the portal
The Earth Temple:
When you enter the temple you will encounter a door that tells you about the temple. Wait for it to finish speaking and walk past. Now continue on until you encounter a block of wood that seems to block your path and match your steps. It is invincible to fire, so hit it with your sword to kill it. Then proceed til a door with what seems to be a box in front of it. It is a torch; hit it with your fire power to proceed. Now you will see a great fairy. She will grant you the wind ability. Afterwards continue walking onwards until you see a raft. GET ON the raft and point towards where you came from. Use your wind power to propel the raft forwards. Now you must walk across a skinny ledge (be careful not to fall off the edge!) You will see a spinning enemy. Hit it with your sword but be careful not to touch it with your body. Now follow the passage until you reach an ending. (It should have turned to stone surroundings instead of grass by now) there is one wall that is colored red, this can be walked through. Then continue on by walking through the health pack which will refill your health. Now continue down the path (careful not to fall off of the edge) until you reach the boss.
The Earth Boss:
The earth boss is essentially a giant log. You will notice that it has glowing lights on its back. Each light corresponds to whatever you should hit it with. Green being wind, red being fire, and grey being your sword. Hit it until it dies (note that you can somewhat control your power by moving after throwing it. For example you can make it change direction by changing direction yourself. After a couple times of this, the monster will die and drop a blue crystal. Grab it, it’s the ice power and will be necessary to complete the fire temple.
The Fire Temple:
The fire temple uses the ice power very frequently, so make sure to be ready to use it. When you begin a goron will give you the hero’s shield. This shield gives you a much higher health which will be necessary if you plan to survive very long. To start, simply walk along the path. The difficult part is that every so often there will be a gap. Oh no! What to do! Use the ice power of course. By shooting ice at the gap you can create a platform to walk across! Be quick though as it only lasts for a short while before it melts! Eventually you will see another adventurer wearing blue. He will give you the hero’s tunic. Continue walking and using your ice power. After a while you’ll see a block of ice floating on the lava. Get on it and use the wind power just like on the raft in the previous level. Except this time you’d better get off quick as the ice melts! Continue walking and using your ice power to get across places. After a while you will make it to the boss room.
The Fire Boss:
The fire boss is a large monster with 4 arms protruding from each side. It had one eye in the middle of its body. Aim for the eye and use your ice power to freeze it. Do this several times. Each time you hit the eye, it will get smaller, making it more difficult to hit the next time. Continue until he dies. (Here’s a tip: to hit his eye when it’s extremely small just run away until he’s in line with you, then turn around and hit it with your ice power. He should have lined up with you to make it easier to hit.) After doing this you will get the hero’s sword! Yay!
The Water Temple:
The Water Temple makes use of all of your different abilities. To start off, walk along the platforms and be careful not to fall off. You may sometimes need to use your ice to get across gaps. Eventually you will come up to a raft. Now usually you need wind, however this raft has jets attached and needs the fire power up to get started. Now as you walk on you will run into a great fairy. This fairy will upgrade all of your powers. This means stronger fire and wind, as well as larger ice. As you continue on you will need to use the ice to get across platforms. Eventually you will come across a door with a blue glowing torch. Put the torch out using your wind power to proceed. Now continue across the path without falling until you reach a room with 3 spider-like enemies. Try and come at them one at a time with your sword to make killing them easier. Now continue on until you reach a walled in area. You will notice a small bit of water poking through the ground. Shoot your ice at it to make a platform that you can use to climb over the wall. Now keep walking and using your ice power to get across platforms. Eventually you will run into a similar problem as before and can again shoot ice to get across. Now keep going until you reach the boss.
The Water Boss:
The water boss is relatively easy to kill. What makes it so difficult is the fact that it moves very fast and tends to blend in with the background. To make it easier to fight, try focusing on the dot in the middle of its head. That will make it easier to spot. Just slash at it with your sword until it dies. When you kill it Zelda will send you a message and you will now go back to kokiri village. You will also unlock the master tunic, master shield, and master sword.
Kokiri Village (Post Ganondorf)
Awww, good ol’ kokiri at last. But wait a second, I don’t remember this…
Ganondorf has destroyed your home town, leaving it a ruin. Follow the path you took at the beginning to the part of the castle where the sword was located. When you get there you will see a short blurb about what happened. This is the end of this part of the game. To make the boss fight better I decided to make it split into two games. But it’s okay because the other game is also posted. You can play it here:
Defeating Ganondorf:
Ganondorf is by far the most extensive and most difficult boss to defeat, But for those of you who have beaten the original Zelda game you should know what to do.
Yes, that’s right
Hit the ball back
Ganondorf will sometimes throw purplish-black balls at you. You need to react quick enough to hit him with them. Using your sword, slash with the left arrow key to hit it back towards him. As things progress it becomes more and more difficult as the ball goes faster, and ganondorf will start hitting them back!
When Ganondorf’s health is high he likes to use these attacks;
Rock Smash: hits the ceiling to make a rock fall on you
Thunder strike: shoots a bolt of thunder down from the top of the stage
Horde: Calls a horde of forest spirits to overwhelm you
Magic Ball: throws a ball of magic towards you at medium speeds
When his health is in the middle he get’s a bit harder, using these attacks
Rock Smash: hits the ceiling to make a rock fall on you
Thunder strike: shoots a bolt of thunder down from the top of the stage
Horde: Calls a horde of forest spirits to overwhelm you
Fast Ball: throws a ball of magic towards you at high speeds. Will hit it back once
Spike upturn: brings spikes up from the ground, be careful to watch your step!
When he has low health he likes to use these attacks
Rock Smash: hits the ceiling to make a rock fall on you
Power strike: shoots a bolt of powerful energy from the roof
Mega Horde: Calls a horde of water spiders to attack you
Mega Ball: throws a ball of magic towards you at extremely high speeds. Hits it back at you several times!
Spike upturn: brings spikes up from the ground, be careful to watch your step!
After killing him you will have successfully beaten The Legend of Zelda for Scratch

Graphics
Looked pretty bad most of the game. The only thing really worth looking at was his hair... Until you gave him the hat.
Concept
Your link from LoZ Ocarina of Time. It's pretty much the same story except shortened.
Sound
I'm going to include dialogue also. The sound effects were ok, and the music was ok as well. The dialogue I have to say sounded too cheesy, and dumb
Entertainment
It left me bored. You go 8000 pixels, and talk to someone. You go 8000 pixels then get a sword without ever seeing, an enviroment object, or a single enemy. I'd have to say this game was boring, not "Mindblowing" as you stated at all.
Playability
So you mapped movement on WASD, and the items on the arrow keys? A bit weird controls there.
Overall = 4/10
I didn't like it. Boring, and repetitive, and I wonder why you completely switched the game on the final battle.
Quick side note. The game combined with the final battle is only around four megabytes. Why did you make them seperate?

for part 1, yah i'm not that great at graphics
yes the concept was similar to ocarina of time, but that's the way i wanted it.
It sounds like all you did was play the first level... did you? because it gets much different farther on. maybe you should finish the game.
The controls were that way because i wanted to make it similar to the original zelda where you used the control stick to move and the c buttons to use items
i disagree, it get's different later on, but whatever it's your opinion. and the game was 6 mb when i posted it, so i figured adding it on would make it slower. it was already slow as it is too. plus i thought i'd make them two different concepts in two separate games in one game sort of thing. that's why they're so different. did you play the final battle anyway? it was pretty epic.

This would go in Show and Tell.
Right alongside the other topic he made in there. Seems like he just wants attention with all these threads.

U know what, stop being so negative all of the time. If you don't have anything nice to say theonsont say anything at all
and at cocoanut I put it in misc then I realized it should be in show and tell. I already had an old topic anouncing the demo so I updated it

Hmmm... although I understand that you were just giving your honest opinion in that post, I really do think it was pretty harsh. Maybe it would be better to offer some advice on how to improve that game? I'm sure the author would appreciate that. ^^
And let's try to be respectful, ok? You can't just assume that he wanted attention because he posted it in the wrong Forum. I'll move this topic to the right place now.

Overall, I'd say there needs to be more fighting and less walking.
I think the graphics could've been better if you had gone with filled colors, not outlines with gradients inside.
BTW it glitches up when you die, and the turning thing with the abilities meant I could keep one on screen indefinitely.
Graphics: 2/10
Erm yeah, look at the graphics. I guess it could've been worse if you had used the pen tool to draw everything...
Gameplay: 5/10
Too much walking!!!
Programming: 9/10
There were some glitches
Overall: 5.3/10
A decent game, not the best, not the worst.

Graphics 1/10:
That's a dodongo? O_o The character graphics need serious overhaul and the oversized world has too little attention to detail, it's just a massive empty space...
Gameplay: 3/10:
Not satisfactory, I had to walk literally a mile to get to the sword, then another mile to get to the sheild with nothing interesting in the way. The way you are meant to go is not apparent in the game, because after I got the sheild (in some random chain of events involving some guy cowering from me and my grandmother) I came to vines which I could do nothing about, so I just shut off the game and stopped playing.

This game seems good but there is only walking and it's slow. Make it walk faster and I might complete it. I have learnt that complex games might not get played if the story is slow also visual signs of achivement don't go a stray.
My site Offline
it seems like not a single person has gotten past the first level other than kileymeister
and like i said it's not a dodongo it's just called that too, it's an entirely different boss i just borrowed the name.
you've got to finish the game before rating just the first level, because honestly that's the most boring of the bunch. try reading the guide if you're stuck, because all of the vines are possible to get through.
i've gotta say after spending like 40 hours working on this game this is pretty discouraging.
it's kind of annoying when people come in and say, i didin't like your game after you put all of that time and effort into making it the best that you could
i'm not artist but you know, the paths were SUPPOSED to look rough, lot's of things are meant to be the way they are.
i've actually doubled the walking speed already, so doubling it again would be over the top!
you don't always know where to go or what to do, but that's what the guide is for. the same thing happens in the real zelda.
overall i'm actually pretty upset with the ratings, after spending so much time on it.

Was cut off, I was in school.
Programming 3/10:
Simple scripts with an unoprimised scrolling engine, with some bugs and the movement isn't too smooth.
Playwithfire, I've spent more than a total of 50 hours on Sketch (not counting drawing and planning) and only completed the FIRST WORLD AND MENU. Programming is about dedication, quality, and fun, not reception and popularity.

Graphics 4/10
Not the best, but they were enough to play the game with.
Concept 3/10
It seemed as if I just sort of went into the woods and starte battling monsters. I know this is how old Zelda's were, but still.
Sound 7/10
Music was great, the sound effects were good.
Entertainment 8/10
There was a constant swarm of enemies, which was fun, but slightly annoying as a I played through. Overall the game was entertaining.
Playability 6/10
It was rather easy to play, hoever I normally find my fingers slip off to the wrong keys when I use WASD and for the arrow keys, the hardest power for me to use was fire because I normally keep my fingers on Left, Right, and Up. Overall, gameplay was understandable but not without it's problems.
Overall = 5/10
It was a good game, and it's about 6 tenths of my expectations, but I took off a point because it randomly made me restart when I had plenty of life, and I didn't click the green flag.
Offline
hmm do you know which area it took off a life in?
and also yah it jumps right into the game because i got complaints that the beginning wasn't very fun.
Offline
The new constant swarm of monsters makes the game more like left for dead, and most of the time they don't do any damage on collision...
Offline
yes, but it's way more action packed which is something everyone wanted.
Offline
Guys, PLEASE let PlayWithFire stop getting all of these negative comments on the game. I haven't played it myself, but I know that I WOULD at least play the whole game before rating it, even if it DID get boring.
Offline
thanks, it was probably the game i worked on the hardest, though that's tough to say. i'm no artist so i can't really please everyone.

Give it some time. I think everybody gets that feeling like wanting to find somebody who appreciates the project you finally finished right after you finish it
. I didn't see the walkthrough, and I gave up when I couldn't figure out how to walk on the white stuff without dying hehe...
You just got a bunch of tough critics to see your project first, but I bet you will find people whose standards for SCRATCH games aren't through the roof. (Props to Kileymeister for playing past the first level
)
