So? It's not about the Scratch programming language or website, and it's just flamebait.

Obviously you haven't met the right people if you think the Scratch community isn't great. The moderators are awesome, and Scratch 2.0 is in development RIGHT NOW. I've seen posts by Scratch Team members only a couple days old, not 2 years.

If you were actually a pro programmer, your projects would be a lot better than what you've put up already. Scratch is easy to understand and make projects in. I wouldn't be complaining about chain projects if I'd done one myself, like you! *facepalm*

I think the scratch forums are very nice to people. Usually when you get a person on a programming forum who makes outlandish claims like yours they are flamed to a crisp. Even after posting that inane babble paddle2see and lightning are being nice to you. Just be a reasonable person and the forum community will be reasonable to you.

It's fine to express criticisms of Scratch. If we thought it was perfect, we wouldn't spend so much time and energy improving it. But this seems like expressing opinions in a deliberately disrespectful way in order to provoke flames -- i.e. Trolling, so I am closing this thread.

With respect, if you don't like Scratch or the Scratch community, you are not required to participate. We wish you luck in finding a language / community that is more suitable to your requirements.
