Great article!
As for sysop...
A sysop is essentially an administrator on the wiki. As you can see here, the main administrators so far are Andresmh, Chrischb, JSO, Jonthanpb, and I. On this wiki, we believe that for the most part, all editors are equal, even administrators, although administrators just have a few more tools, such as being able to protect pages from being edited by anybody other than other administrators, being able to delete pages, and being able to block users, to name a few. Right now, we don't need any more right now, but as more contributors join, we will be considering different people to become administrators.

What does your account need to be approved?

It's not a bug... it's intentional. To get an account, you request on this topic - by requesting to have an account instead of just making one, we can be sure that the user tigerstripe on the wiki is the same tigerstripe on the Scratch Forums.
I'll put you in the list...
...
List:
Aidan
schism
terminator68
tigerstripe
Thanks!

@Subh: Reading your posts on the other page (I forgot to read them), I don't think we're planning to make anybody bureaucrats anytime soon. Perhaps administrators when we need them - but not bureaucrats, for a few reasons. Mainly because they have two powers, which requires very much responsibility:
-creating accounts
-making other people into administrators and bureaucrats
So... we don't want to have it get out of hand. I hope you understand

It's not like that... you'll only become an administrator for one (or both) of two reasons:
• There is a need for more administrators on the wiki, and you get picked. If there are a lot of vandals, there need to be a lot of administrators to block them - that's an example.
• The tools would really come in handy for you. If you constantly are asking administrators to delete, protect, edit protected pages, etc., then you might want to apply for administrator.
And as Lucario mentioned above this post, don't worry about being a bureaucrat.

You misquoted I asked for more Bureaucrats because of the slow speed of making accounts. Really, It might Turn Other people away from Wiki ....
Thats why...
Also, can I be an admin? The first thing we need to do is to create a better Login page.... A group of admins (more than we might need now) will be a lot better as they can distribute tasks among themselves more efficiently. We have too much of work to do Now. Having more admins wouldn't hurt
Also, we need to stop Vandalism from occur again.Since wiki does not have Bots, we might as well compensate by having admins who regularily check the changes done on Wiki so that no vandalism occurs AT ALL.
PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

grammer does not matter as we all are there to check the grammer

I do see your reasoning, but there's a few flaws.
Firstly, the login page (Special:UserLogin) is a Special page - that means it can't be edited to customize or anything. The only person who might be able to make changes, by accessing the actual database and such (and the person who has access to it) is JSO. So, either way, becoming an administrator wouldn't help you with that - you can just request the changes via talk pages or this forum topic.
Secondly, there isn't much vandalism, because the accounts are actually approved, so we don't have to worry about that much.
I appreciate that you'd like to be admin - but at this time, we are not interested in them.

Don't worry - I did!
Just Subh basically summed it all up.
Generally, you should just try your best with your spelling and grammar, but not try to focus on it. If you spend 5 minutes just trying to think of how to spell a certain word, you'll probably forget your idea and what you were going to type, so don't worry to much. After all, other people will fix it; that's what builds a wiki!

Hey Luc, how many more people do you need on the list before you can give them all accounts?

For example, I''m horrible at Wiki coding, so I just make what I know then let others add References and such.

Don't worry about not knowing wiki-code - you pick it up eventually, and your edits can always be improved on.
