PlayWithFire's Scratch PA
Alright Guys be prepared for some cool stuff.
The Legend of Zelda, Scratched
Obviously this isn't a pic from in game, but here are some from the actual game.
You can see link at the very beginning of his adventure. he's walking towards a great fairy to get his starter fire power. As you can see, I've made a lot of changes to his character by recycling characters I've used in my old l4d games XD
Now as you can see here, link is much farther on in his adventures then he previously was. now he has the hero's sword, shield, and tunic as well as upgraded fire, ice, and win powers. He is also fighting against 3 spider enemies in the water temple.
Here link is fighting the second boss (the boss of the fire temple)
link mainly uses his ice power to hit the boss in it's eye (it's weak spot)
As you can see here, this is the first boss of the game. It charges at you like a battering ram and then spins into you. As you can see, it has a glowing light on it's back. the light corresponds to which power you need to use to kill it, (green=wind, red=fire etc...)
This is the water temple boss, as you can see, it's very difficult to spot. So keep an eye our for it's blue dot. note that this boss only needs to be hit with your sword, if you can see it...

This shows kokiri village, post ganondorf. You have all of the best stuff, and are ready for the battle with ganondorf. if you think you can win

Nice. I like the top-down view.

thanks! I figured i'd try for something that no one else had ever succeeded in creating before on scratch which was a top down 4 way scroller legend of zelda game. I think it went perfectly!

Actually, it has been done, and your game is bird's eye view.
Anyway, I dislike the graphics (that doesn't say much, I dislike the graphics in most scratch games), but the gameplay sounds great!

Some of those bosses and enemies look epic
Can't wait to play it, and I'll gladly be a beta tester (my email works again)!

graphics aren't my strong point, sorry guys. i tried my best though.
and @ justickman can you send me a link to a completed one on scratch? i bet it's not even close to as long as this one, and it probably doesn't have as many powerups etc...
@ kileymeister
if you're free right now i can send it. it's all done except the final boss fight which will be super epic.

@meew0: Oh sorry about the screenshot graphics, i'd change it but right now i'm focusing more on getting the game done. i think that's probably a better attitude towards it anyway

@ RHY: yah i couldn't think of a new name, and i figured that they are both the fire boss XD

I'm right on the part with King Dodongo, so far the game is absolutely epic!

Ok, I just won (or at least got to the "sorry for the inconvenience" sign), and here's my report:
At first I was afraid that the stages would be huge and I'd get lost, but the paths made the way clear and the stages were just the right size.
On the first temple the enemies had a special way of being beaten, which I thought was kinda cool. The boss was ok and I hoped for a more epic boss in the next temple.
Next temple, I found that there were some really cool features (no spoilers, I won't say what they are) that you had to figure out to beat it, which I thought was awesome. In this temple the boss really topped the last one and was pretty epic.
The third temple was great like the last two, and the boss unique in its own way.
All in all, a great game

thank you
glad to see you didn't encounter any glitches that made playing difficult!

Nope, it was surprisingly glitch free, except that you can change the course of a fire/wind/water bolt midair by turning yourself, but I didn't think that was worth mentioning.

that's actually something i was aware of
it started off as a glitch, but then i thought, hey why not let people who want to learn how to control their powers do it
so now it's possible to make it change direction, but it's very difficult.
