Zelda Challenge
hey guys, i'm just letting you know something i'm hoping to do this summer
i want to play every major 3d Zelda game that has come out for a non hand held console
that means
Ocarina of time
Majora's Mask
Twilight Princess
Windwaker
and eventually
Skyward sword
also i'm starting work on a scratch LOZ game which is looking fantastic, it's got a HUGE map.
let me know if i missed and zelda games!

what im doing is this
4 way scrolling with a big map
however certain loading areas will cause the sprites to change costume
so there is still a huge map, just with more costumes and less sprites
also i won't make it too big, probably three temples maximum
then of course, a ganondorf fight
i could post the beta if you guys wanna see.

yep, it should have an ocarina
some changes from original
i've got three swords instead of four, biggorons sword, kokiri sword, master sword
shields are health, basically the better the shield, the more health you have
there will be an earth, fire, and water temple, followed by ganondorfs castle
you will get three items through the course of the game. the first is fire that you can shoot to hit switches or burn through vines
the next is going to be a freezing ability to freeze things
and a third
i don't want to make too many as then it'll make the game over complicated
i'll post the beta as soon as I am finished the huge kokiri map
also i'll try and make hit test, not sure how i'm going to do that right now though.

just had the best idea ever for hit tests, it's fantastic
if this works then i'm a genius 
EDIT: oh no it didn't work
oh well ill just do the easy way.

yah they're really tough! and thanks
i'm actually mostly working on the zelda scratch game. it's going really really well and the beta will be out later today (as soon as i finish the huge kokiri village)

this morning i beat the deku tree level in ocarina and now i'm in kakariko about to go up death mountain
now i'm working on the scratch zelda game. i'm currently half way finished the first temple, and have created a new wind power. it allows you to blow wind to say move platforms (hint hint) also you get to encounter some enemies and end off with a boss battle. then you will unlock the ice power to use in the fire temple
note: that may be the end of new attacks, but you also get new clothing, shields, and swords throughout the game which increase your health size, attack power and range, and STYLE.
edit: everything may be subject to change though.
