Rope simulation my upcoming platformer! This one's really cool, so I thought I'd post a demonstration project rather than a video. (For Scratch PA)

Basically this is a rough simulation (to conserve gameplay speed) of a four point rope which you can swing on. It isn't perfect, but the effect works well.

Movement can travel down AND up the rope, which is something I haven't seen on scratch yet so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Test it out yourself, it could undergo some improvement before game release though.

Unfortunately this simulation IS inaccurate, which is to avoid lag generated by calculations. My method isn't the fastest, but it gets the job done well.

Controls:
Left to move left
Right to move right
Up to jump and to jump off rope.
