If you two have relationship, tell your dad that you met a friend at camp, or at school or at somewhere and you'd like to see her again. You don't have to let on to that you're 'dating' or you two are a little romantic.
If you're just friends, do the same. Cell phones help too. If she lives someplace near by, maybe tell her to meet you there. By the time you're 11, your parents should be giving you a little slack on where you can go on your bike.

Summer is here.
I am no longer an elementary student, and I am going to a different middle school then my friends. I have a friend, who's causing me a bit of a problem. I REALLY, REALLY miss her. Although she lives nearby, I can't invite her over. I can't meet her anywhere.
Because my parents don't know we are friends.
And I'm a guy.
And 11.
I really hate this summer, and I am fretting over never seeing her again.
Help?I have a similar situation...
except me and her have secret phone conversations.![]()
It works! Try it.
Just make sure nobody answers the call but you.
and if it's a home phone, hide it where nobody can find it

Naw, I wouldn't sweat it. Robotkitty's my friend, and he's a boy. Are you just afraid to ask because you think they will say no, or they might? If it's might, just go for it and tell them. If your parents laugh or something, don't get all dramatic. Calling her once and maybe telling her to get an email so you can still talk is a clever one

I have a worse problem than you. Nearly every girl I see likes me in some way, even if they're just friends D: It's usually my melting chocolate eyes that lure them in
I have random girls, I mean litteraly random girls that I've never seen before asking me out, trying to get me to like them, trying touching my muscles and beard. But I guess that's the price you pay for being hot like me
But if you're really that worried, just ask your parents. And if they say no, just get her phone number

But seriously, why the hell would you be worrying about this when you're 11? Get out there and enjoy life! [removed by mod] what your parents think, it's your life! Do what YOU want with it!

Something similar to that happened to me. In elementary school, I had this REALLY great friend, and we basically spent every second at school laughing and making stupid jokes. Then after 5th grade, he had to move because his dad got a new job another place. He never got to go to middle school with me. I remember his going away party. Me, him, and some other friends were goofing around with a spongebob ball. We were also goofing around on the treadmill. the ball slipped from someone's hand and got sucked actually UNDERNEATH the treadmill and got stuck at the other end. We were all laughing. It was great. But it was sad when he left
