Japanese

I created a scratch program with Japanese text in it on a computer at a university, however, when I came home and tried editing it, the Japanese text is replaced with a box.  I tried installing Microsoft's Japanese Language support, but it didn't make a difference.

Re: Japanese

The only time I've seen something like that happen is when I try to edit a text that was written in a font not installed on my computer - it gets replaced with another font. Are you sure you didn't use a font that is specifially for Japanese characters?

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Re: Japanese

Yes that often happens for languages not installed in your computer. Try installing the same font on Your computer in which you typed the original text. Or type the original text in the FONT that you have installed on the computer.
