Summer is here.
I am no longer an elementary student, and I am going to a different middle school then my friends. I have a friend, who's causing me a bit of a problem. I REALLY, REALLY miss her. Although she lives nearby, I can't invite her over. I can't meet her anywhere.
Because my parents don't know we are friends.
And I'm a guy.
And 11.
I really hate this summer, and I am fretting over never seeing her again.
Help?

Wait, are you and this girl... "friends" or "more than friends"? If you get my drift.

Friends.
She doesn't like me that way.

You could do this:
DaGamez wrote:
Screw it and tell your parents you want to invite a friend, and then when she comes you can say "You never said I couldn't invite a girl over!"
![]()
Or, you could plan a secret rendezvous out in town with this "girl". Doesn't that sound better? But I dunno if it would work where you live. It would work where I live.

Meh, forget it. I think internet chatrooms are the best way to go.

I mean talking to her over the web through an internet chatroom is the best way to go.

Also, just ASK your parents if you can invite a girl over.

Or if you want to meet at a waterpark, maybe just a park with parent supervision. Maybe do a camp with her? (Sports, etc)?

sorry about that, Waffles. I think you should tell your parents about this girl and if your dad gives you grief that she's your "girlfriend", then tell him no. Don't let people push you around. It's most likely that your parents will tease you about this girl, but they will probably realize that she's not "more than friends" with you, and they will learn to accept her as they once did with every friend. (Even though I'm 10 doesn't mean I can't give great advice.

I have a similar situation...
except me and her have secret phone conversations.
It works! Try it.
Just make sure nobody answers the call but you.

I'm in the same boat you are, but school ends on the 22th, and I'm 12 lol. My friend doesn't live nearby. I support Aidan's "Rendezvous Point" idea; that can work. Talking to your parents can work, but glare at them if they make fun of you. (If they do, tuff cheese. I'm mocked by everyone I know. SOME OF THEM DON'T LIVE IN MY * STATE! KNAR!) <-- Spazzing out
Eeh hee.
Flinging stuff at a wall, and ranting/raving sometimes help: MY friend told me to reccommend to smash rocks with a hammer; He's as violent as I am. He says he isn't; He doesn't scar people. (Tell you all about that later.)
ANYWAY; simply invite her somewhere over the summer. (Even though I feel too akward to do that, just don't make it public.)

Just tell your parents you want your friend over. If they really support you they won't care that it's a girl.
If otherwise... get new parents.

Why are you sad? Just invite the girl over. So its a girl, big whop. Your gonna start wanting to invite girls over when you get older. What's the big deal?
