You know how in scratch the costumes just snap from one to another? What if you want the costumes to morph, like with flash? I think that we should have a block like this in Scratch 2.0:
Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

I like it! Tweening seems like a good idea to me ^^ - maybe it should be measured in frames, rather than in seconds?

Sounds good! It's a wonderful idea... But I don't think it will be implemented because images in Scratch are defined by pixels, not shapes as in Flash.
See, when you draw something in Flash, it takes your input and turns it into lines, shapes and colours. When you draw something in Scratch, it takes your input and turns it into pixels of different colours. That's why things get pixelated when you zoom in in Scratch, but not in Flash.
When it comes to morphing things, it's a lot easier to do when you've got your data stored as lines and shapes, because you can just move those lines. When you've got pixels, it doesn't know what is and isn't a line, and therefore doesn't really understand what you've got down.
Make sense? It's a great idea, though, and I'd love to see it implemented.

Ah - I forgot about raster graphics as opposed to vector graphics... whoops. I've never actually used Flash - I experienced tweening a while ago, in a program I can't remember the name of... It made animating a lot easier and smoother...
Mais, j'aime le challenge, alors... I forgot how to say the rest in French... but I meant to give the gist of "I like being challenged, and animating in Scratch is certainly a challenge for me, sometimes!" Mleh, I'll call it a "learning experience"...
I don't know what I'm talking about now But anyway, it's a cool idea - it would make animating a faster process, certainly

I support Tweening! I'd love to make frames inside frames.
But it would be costumes, wouldn't it. I still like the idea!

I support tweening! It may be a bit difficult (I don't know), but considering Scratch will be in flash, it will definitely be possible! I think..

Sounds cool, but it might be a little difficult for the Scratch team to program.
