Re: Guide to the forums.

You may want to add, under necroposting, something about the new 2-week rule.

In Misc, topics auto-close after they're inactive for two weeks. However, if you have something important to say, you can request for one of us to open it up for you with the report link. The rule is two months (I think?) in a few other forums, such as Announcements, Show and Tell, New Members, Advanced Topics, and All About Scratch (I think that's all of them)

Also, I don't think Jens is on the Scratch Team any more...  wink

No, he's not... I never noticed that. But it's true. No more asterisk next to his name.

And his posts say "Member" not "Scratch Team"  hmm

EDIT: Re-reading the guide, you might want to also say that a topic can get closed because of the time rule in some forums  smile

Re: Guide to the forums.

Great guide! However, I still don't understand what is wrong with Necroposting. Can you explain that part clearer?

Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.

I'll change it in the morning  smile  Right now I need sleep xD

(4:00am...)

Basically, if you revive a dead thread from somewhere like page 7 for no reason by posting something like bump, it could be considered spam since those topics aren't really needed any more and are left to slowly fall to the back of the forums.
