Honestly, this is the best I've seen from nintendo in forever. They are going back to classics...Donkey Kong Country...Mario Kart...Kid Icarus...Zelda...Kirby. Then they have the 3DS that is complete boss with Wii graphics. Seriously. I posted on here about the Kid Icarus game...I said it was for wii. Then I did research, and I found out it's for the 3DS! The 3DS literally has graphics quality of the wii. Maybe the Wii doesn't have the best graphics, but it's good enough to say "wow". Kirby is having his first console platformer since the nintendo 64--Kirby's Epic Yarn, a game with which the whole kirby world is made of yarn and you use yarn to do different things. This will be on the Wii.
Also, like I said, they are having Donkey Kong Country Returns, which is basically Jungle Beat minus the drums, and closer to the original Country games. I still don't like Donkey Kongs voice in the new games though...But whatever.
Then we have Mario Kart...no announced name yet, but has AMAZING graphics.
Kid Icarus Uprising was great. I thought it was on the Wii, since it's the exact same model used in Brawl...
Then we have the new Zelda game, Skyward Sword and unlike the Link from the most recent Zelda adventure on the Wii, this goes back to the old Nintendo 64 style art.
Nintendo, you've really been amazing this year, BRING THESE GAMES AND THE 3DS SOON!

I agree!
Plus, we're getting some other wonderful games like Okamiden and that new Scribblenauts from this year to the next! Don't forget we got NSMG2 And Metriod.
Best year in gaming ever? Very possible.

TP of LoZ looked more fun and intense though.....the new one looks a bit cheery.

And don't forget that we already got Super Mario Galaxy 2, which got a perfect 10 out of 10 from IGN, and IGN rates hard. Nintendo has out-done itself once again.
EDIT: Also, they are making a remake of the N64 classic, Goldeneye. I mean, seriously. Goldeneye 64 was the best shooter and fps game of it's time, and now they are making it again with better controls and enhanced graphics? Awesome!

I just said it takes back to the old Nintendo 64 games. Not the Wii games. The Nintendo 64 ones. They ARE much more cheery.

What? Wii has built in Wifi, same with DS, and both have wireless controllers. This topic is about NINTENDO E3. Not Microsoft or Sony. Please make a flame war somewhere else at some XBOX fan-boy forum.

And of course, Ocarina of Time 3DS - Which I will buy 5 times.

I want them all! But mostly I think getting the 3DS is first, I"ll probably sell my DSi ^^ and then get Kid Icarus >.> But I'll probably get Zelda, it looks great!

WAIT! They are making Ocarina of Time for the 3DS?!?!?!? I need to sell all my DS stuff to buy that! NEED MONEY!
But again, what is that, #100 of awesome Nintendo things coming out in the next few years? How can anything top this?
Explanation: You might say Kinect for the Xbox 360 is better, and it is, only one thing. The Xbox 360 sucks. My friend bought a new one and on the first day he go the red-ring-of-death. Seriously?
GO NINTENDO!!!

I've had mixed feelings with Nintendo lately. The hardware is decent and the games are ok but they dumbed down some games too much. I was expecting mario galaxy to be like mario 64 (the best 3d mario) with planets but it turns out to be way to easy to beat. Even in what they consider one of the more difficult games: New Super Mario Bros, they make it super easy by giving you about 3 1-ups for every death. And they butchered Smash Bros to hell by getting rid of combos and canceling (+a S tier char) and they killed snaking (and karts) in WKWII.
Having said that I'll still probably get a 3Ds if they have Mario Kart but they don't seem to making anything new that is better than previous games.

Yeah - I found SMG2 VERY easy, 50ish 1-ups within the first stretch of the game during normal gameplay. O_o

I think the graphics have deteriorated considerably.
If they don't bring the TP graphics back, they are going to have at least one angry fan.

Yeah, that is where my disappointment comes from. Just skipping along in a game makes it feel like a waste of time. I never ran out of lives in SMG1&2.

So long as the new Mario Kart has the same powersliding as MKDS, I'm happy.
I bet it won't, but we will just have to see.

I like toon link. Much more lively and fits the wii's graphics capabilities.

Nintendo have a very big year ahead of them now. They have the 3DS (Amazing
) and all of the new games for it, most of which are remakes of games that nintendo made in their prime, and also they have the new Legend of Zelda game for the wii.
I'm going to be so broke this time next year
.

Mario Kart DS(came out a few years ago) I actually found pretty decent. So if the one for the 3DS has those same mechanics with better graphics and more characters and tracks, I'll probably pick it up.
