putting scratch project on dvd

Is there any way I can put my scratch project on a DVD and have it play in a regular DVD player. I would like to use scratch for a school project where we have to make an animation.

Sorry, unless you used some sort of recording device like CamStudio, no.

There's this...  hmm

I fall: It's a tragedy. You fall: It's comedy.
Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

Re: putting scratch project on dvd

A scratch project is not a video file, so it can't be played on a DVD player. If you made an animation in scratch that has no interaction with pressing buttons, moving your mouse, etc , you could do a screen recording of it. Just do a search for "Free Screen Recording Software" and you will find something. If you are viewing this project on a computer you could follow Chris's link above. Or if you have access to the internet, you could show the project from online, but then it wont be full screen.  wink

Re: putting scratch project on dvd

As above users have mentioned, you can't put Scratch projects onto DVDs because they aren't videos; they can be interactive. You can, however, use screen recording software to record what you've made and then put THAT on DVD. Or you could put it onto a disk and open it in a computer... However, there's no way to put it onto a disk and have it play straight from a DVD player.
