Scratch

This goal is hard and almost impossible to achieve. The better the Scratcher, the more complex the code, the more harder it is to read. Each person has their own programming style.
Of course, really skilled and mature programmers, like Jens, Paddle2See or Archmage can understand other peoples' code well, but for me, Coolstuff or you, Dingdong, it might be quite hard.
If this were ever to happen you would just spend all your either time trying to read each others' code or explaining how it works.

Ok, I have worked before on a colaborative flash project and this is how it worked. Each person/small team created a simple minigame which could easily be executed from the main menu. A popular colaborative flash game would be 4 second fury.

Just because you have a ton of people helping doesn't mean you can create a single great project, in fact it would be more difficult if everyone is tring to work on a single game.

I reccomend that you try making a game like 4 second fury or another minigame collection. Each minigame could be triggered by a broadcast and another broadcast would return the user to the main menu. If you do that if you do that it would be pretty simple tomake  a fun game. But making many people work on the same body of code is just asking for trouble.

i can make some sort of good games, but i can make 3D images, check out this! http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/piplupquaza/177324 its not about how good the game is, but the 3D images. i will help find sprites if needed too. if you dont think the game i linked to isn't good enough just tell me to do a sample project for you. I'm hoping you will let me in, it would be nice. Thank you(even if i'm not in thanks anyway)!!! Look at the little dudes dance!!! (thats not the 3D or sprites i was talking about!)

May I join? I can make rudimentary enemies in Blender, and have expertise in scrolling and debugging. I can fix almost any script, so long as I know what the problem is. I can set a position for an enemy even if it is offscreen, like in a scroller and I can make basically anything you request.

also if you're good blender, I need teaching on the program (the scratch master needs help!) I going to be moving on to 3D games soon (I might come back to scratch and make a game once in awhile) so I'll need to know how to use blender

great idea, it would lots of graphical detail so it would take awhile to make

You're quality???????  It isn't nearly as good as some, a lot of people are batter than you(no offense). This is a bad post because if you want it to happen don't turn people down, all this is is a big company, and by turning people down you're saying they are not good, and everyone is great in there own way, if you wanna turn people down it should say"Why don't some good scratchers come together and make a compony"

I think he is full of himself because he made the first split screen game.

I am pretty sure that bigB made a split screen game before dingdong did. I don't see it as that big of a deal anyways.
