It would limit the abilities if the spammers if the users in the group could only write not post links, pictures etc.
It would also mean we could do pictures again.

If a mod reads this and if what i suspect is true then they have no reason to keep images for the rest of us disabled as anyone who creates a new account won't be able to post them up anyway. If this isn't the case then i very much suggest you make that the case.

The signatures are left on because a user must wait 15 days after entering the forums to have a signature, and by that time the spammers are ussually banned. So sigs sould be fine.
