Facebook - ?
So, facebook, the social networking god. I've heard this all, but I was just wondering the whole opinions of others.
THIS TOPIC IS COMPLETELY INFORMATION FREE! Mods or admins, if it gets out of hand or you find this innapropriate, please delete. DO NOT PUT YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT ON HERE OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT!
My veiws on facebook, (I do not have one because I do not want one.) I feel that it is a good way of talking to others but don't see the point of having one. It seems like a waste of time. Instead of emailing, calling, texting or talking to someone, you're using this which is much less safe.
There's something to be said for unanimity. Putting all your information online seems strange to me. I will agree there are many things facebook is good for, but I personally find it unuseful to me.
edit: If you're on you just have to be very smart about settings and who you're giving the info away to. Be sure to check your settings.

It's fine to use it, but you just have to be secure with your information, and don't give it away, or else you can get it lots of trouble.

I agree there are definatly economic reasons.
It seems that since everyone has one, there's a little peer pressure trend.
OVerall, if you're responsible I'd say its pretty safe. I just don't like having personal info online. Guess it's just me.

Ok, I live in Argentina and my name is not Elton John, but on facebook I put that I loved Elton John, my phone number was Elton John's (Phone Number: Elton John's), I put that I went to Elton John High, Elton John Uni/verstity, And in the end I put that I was Elton John, etc., and I put that I lived in Bucharest Romania.
Think that I'm safe with all of my True, Personal, Epic information is safe? [/sarcasm]
