Has anyone seen one of those Scratch projects where the user shows you how to make custom blocks for programming? Well, as a new addition to Scratch, why not allow easier block modification? As well, When Scratchers download or view the projects on the web, the Scratch player can just download the code for the custom block before turning it into one.

There's already BYOB, which is a modified version of Scratch that allows you to create your own custom blocks right from the program. You can find it here:

I agree though, custom blocks would be great, but at the moment it goes against Scratch's Terms of Use to upload projects with custom blocks to the website.

Well, that's what I meant. In the next Scratch, permission to actually make custom blocks, without violating the policy.
