Broadcast bug

I went to the control section of a background to send a broadcast message to a sprite and didn't type anything for a broadcast message. Then I went to a sprite to and dragged out the when I receive block and didn't type anything for receiving.  Then I put a move ten steps block under the receive block and went to the background and double-clicked the broadcast block and amazingly, the sprite moved ten steps! There was nothing in the broadcast message!!!

Re: Broadcast bug

Cool, the empty message is a legal message!

This seems to be not to be a bug, but a feature.  (At least, it would be a feature if it were documented.)
