Re: my new version of scratch coming soon

Okay here it is (kinda long  tongue ):

ScratchReallyROCKS didn't really think about computer programming before he learned about Scratch from his fourth grade teacher. He currently can program in Scratch, Squeak/Smalltalk, and is learning Objective-C. He has used Scratch for over four years, but never shared a project until early 2009. Like many people, he thinks that Scratch is not as good as it's programming allows it to be. This is why he joined the Jaguar team. He is also a professional skier and has ben doing it for at least ten years. When he is older he plans on possibly going to MIT to, along with other things, help Scratch get to it's full potential.

I hope that was less than 5 mins

I already made universal setters.... You might see them in later BYOB versions, Jens has semi-recruited me.

Maybe I missed something, but this seems a little off-topic.

(HAT BLOCK)
when <> do

And here is another one

(sprite name's)

and

(x position/y position/size/costume/color/angle)

Oh! How about

(website []'s text)

also...

[] [] []

(touching)
(near)
(away)
(similar)
(matches)

so you can do stuff like... sprite 2 touching sprite 13

or if you add one more...

sprite 2's color matches sprite 13's color

I'll start working on those.

Oh and what do you mean by sprite '2's color matches sprite 13's color'? Do you mean pen color?

yeah... pen color or shading. Heres another one (congruent).

And how about this  big_smile

(negative direction)

So if you are comming in at 45 degrees it would do -45

And how about a <negative> block

Re: my new version of scratch coming soon

yeah... something like that. How many of my suggestions did you implement so far? This may be the best mod for me! Here is another request if you don't mind. A clone on runtime block. It would clone a certain sprite, but after the program is ended, it deletes the clones. And to go along with that, the ability to control other sprites. So you can change sprite 2's size/position/anything else from sprite one.

You could use a universal change block for your last one, and it seems like you have a lot of good ideas, maybe I should talk to meow0 to add a 'suggestions' section to the Jaguar website.
