How do I make walls/floors?!?!?!?!

I really want to make a game, but I don't know how to make solid objects!!!

Also, I know how to make an enemy, and how to make it attack the character, but it keeps popping up when I don't want it to.

Are loops that change the enemy's y position running at the time?
