Scratch Movie feature...

Today i did the whole shift click the r in the scratch logo and turned fill screen off.... then i went to the white space and clicked it... then i went to new morph..., i saw movie so i added it. it worked a little. Was this a past removed feature??? Also mp3s and some audio files played... and only some movies. http://dav09.webs.com/moviescratch.jpg
could this of been implemented in 2.0 if some blocks wernt obsolete? image: http://dav09.webs.com/Movie%20scratch.image

Re: Scratch Movie feature...

I'm pretty sure this is a squeak feature, not a Scatch one. It's pretty cool though.

You can get several things by this method - tetris, a clock, a piano, and some other stuff that I forgot...

Re: Scratch Movie feature...

that isn't a scratch feature.  that's a morph that is a part of squeak.  anything that isn't in the little scratch window is squeak.

Re: Scratch Movie feature...

I know, but it can imported into scratch and could be functional if blocks were made

Re: Scratch Movie feature...

There is already programming for the movie blocks, it's just not in the block specs. I never bothered to try to reactivate this feature. If you want to, be my guest.

Re: Scratch Movie feature...

This was once a feature in a preliminary, unreleased version of Scratch, but they removed it because they thought it would be too difficult to understand for newer users.
