Writers Appreciation Club

Since or before the dawn of time the noble arts of writing have been overlooked. In the first millenia war had taken the hearts of many of the people which without shame they kicked education aside. Alas there were one or two in that period of time who took education seriously. In the 17 and 18 hundreds Thomas Jefferson and several others composed the Declaration of Independence. But truth to be told King George the Third set aside the masterpiece and carried on the war. Soon after a brilliant ingenious man by the name of William Shakespeare created a line of plays which not a normal untalented man could have thought of. When William Shakespeare died his gifted brains died with him. Others who have the talent of writing courageously share their views to the world in hope of power beyond power. But still the arts of writing are still overlooked. In my belief I say that us scratchers can overpower the foolhearted people who cast education behind. Let us rise to a new era in hopes that the arts of writing will never be overlooked again.

Below Post some of your writings, plays,or poetry!

Writing is not overlooked!

Hi, SCRATCH FORUMS! I WOULDN'T DARE SEE ANY WRITING IN YOU!

If you are saying it is not acknowledged, that doesn't matter, reading and writing are the only way we can survive, and therefore you be just wrong to say it is overlooked.

Re: Writers Appreciation Club

I disagree with you. In many times writing, reading, and education had a downfall. In studies 40% of the people dropped out of school or didn't take much interest in writing. Another 20% just loved to go outside be free and disobey their parents. Then 10% of them which mostly counts as girls or stuck up boys just loved to gossip and hang aroung new technology. Only the last 30% was dedicated to reading and writing.
