Mulitplayer

We should have mulitiplayer on line because think of all the new things we can do with mulitplayer if you agree with me go to one of these projects.

Well, this has been suggested an almost insane amount of times in recent days because of Foxgirlgamer's project, so I'll just post the same response I posted in a different thread over here:

Yep, this idea has been suggested a LOT - too many times for my liking. For now, you can use Mesh, which is hidden in Scratch and not officially supported - and of course, only works offline. You can learn about Mesh in this thread, but be warned, it's not for the average user. I think that was one of the reasons it wasn't included in the official release of Scratch 1.4 - and also that it would take up a fair bit of the servers' time and energy. I support, but I think the ideas need to be smoothed out a little so that there can be as few difficulties while programming with online capabilities and having the capabilities run as possible.
