El The Chaser (A story, unfinished)

http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/2692/lylla.png

Chapter 1:Crushed Dream

El rushingly walked towards the large apartment building. He entered the blue sliding doors, ready to make his speech. As he ran up the C-floor stairs, he thought of julies thoughts. Julie and him had had a great running relationship. Until this very day, El thought, our relationship has been normal. As he approache the door, he heard laughing and crashing. El knocked lightly on the fragile door with his agile hands. A tall, tattered man stomped out. He yelled in El's face "Wut eh' ya want?! Im bizi' with me girlfriend!" El blocked out the yelling, for he could see a picture of Julie and the man. Julie walked out, glaring at El. "I'm sorry El, but I have no time for you anymore".

The man walked Julie back inside, as El knew that this would end up as much more than a sad romance.

Chapter 2:Criminal Deputy

El trudged in sorrow towards the book store, for he could think about nothing but what had happened. He was about to ring the library night bell, until he heard crying. He could see a girl about his age lying on a park bench, sobbing and tearing. She had a gash on her leg and nothing covering it but shredded cloth. El stood nervously and in shock. He looked down, thinking what to do, but as he looked down to his left, he saw a bloody knife. A man with a vulgar attitude. Bloody thoughts, a ravaged mind... El approached the girl. Her crying faded as El approached. "Who are you?"the girl bearly sputtered out. "Before that, I have to get you treated.... That wound?" Silence fell. El blushed, and then again remembered his task. He helped her up off the bench, and the girl limply stumbled onto her feet. "I really have to thank you. My name is Lylla, you?" the girl looked closely at El's pale face. A tear dropped into a cold cut on El's face. "Are you.... okay?" El dropped onto the bench. Lylla saw a picture drop from El's ripped jean pocket. It lay ripped, him, and Julie. Lylla sat next to El. "Brake up?" El slumped to nothing. Suddenly, a booming crash came from the neighboring market. Lylla and El, alert, jumped to their feet, as a strange man in an overcoat ran out of the store. Everything was strange about it, but one thing brought that judjement. On the criminals overcoat, was a name tag saying 'detective Marley'. Lylla and El ran to find shelter, as shots and screams emitted from the distance.

Vulgar mind.....

.......and bloody thought

Chapter 3: Rapid Rabids

As the two fled, they had to listen to the screams of death and loss. The two made way to a large junk yard. Lylla pulled out a one eye binocular and looked closely at the junk ridden area.
She handed it to El and he shakingly put it to his left eye. He saw that the area had been nested by bats. Thousands. Lylla began to quaver, knowing of the bats when she examined the yard.
El tried to look brave and marched in. Lylla soon followed in fear of the shrieking merauders.
El stopped at a crossroad of trash and crushed items. As he examined the two ways he felt a drop of some type of frothy liquid. He looked up he saw a bat, vigerously drooling. Froth. Rabies.
El leaned towards Lylla, who was having a nervous breakdown. He spoke quietly. "Lylla, I think the bats..." Lylla answered, "yeah?" El then finished "they're rabid...." Lylla began to shake, sputter and twitch. She went wide eyed, and then collapsed. The small thump of Lylla's crash woke the many rabid bats. El was stuck in the middle of thousands of rogue bats.

Escapades of the whistling wings......

...........Slicing the sky

El looked nervously at Lylla, and then at the rogue bats. He paniced. He thought of millions of options, but there was not enough time for any.... El ran from the bats, waving off as many as he could. Suddenly a silent shriek rung, and the bats stopped. What had happened, what will he do?

El looked at thousands of collapsed bats. Danger was near, he knew it. He turned around, looking to see any figure that matched with the rustled footsteps. No figure came to his blinded sight. El cautiously picked up a lead bar. Ready with defense, El held the infectious bar ahead of him. The footsteps got louder, and louder. Then at that moment, a ragged man, covered with lood stepped out from the shadows. El stared in fear. The man, or 'detective', held up a gun. The man from the market theft, El knew it. "Why are you d-d-doing th-this? Arent-t-t-t-t you a d-d-detective?" The man chuckled a low chuckle. In a low voice, he responded,"I used to be one. (chuuckle)...Such pitiful years, but it did lure a weapon to my bloody hands...." El looked a the deadly glare of the pistol, covered with gun powder and  blood...

"goodbye.... pitiful child....."

Chapter 4: Julie, the demon girl

As the gun pointed at El, the rustling of an awakening Lylla sounded, alerting the detective.
El ignored her, knowing any movement would fire the gun of the opposing character. He looked at the suspicious detective and began, "Why do you wear a nametag, even though you're a famed criminal?" The man chuckled, and threw off the filthy tag. El realized that the name tag was stolen. It was probably used to get in unnoticed, El thought. Lylla got up, by then aware of the mysterious criminal. Pretending to be half asleep, she picked up a rock, turned to El, and then winked. El got her message. Distract. El looked warily around for any obstacles, and then made way. He side galloped around the man, as he circled, still trying to aim his gun at Lylla at the same time. Lylla then threw the obtained rock at the man's hand. He stumbled, dropping his gun. El ran to grab the gun. He was a second away from the gun, but then a shot rung from a near distance. El felt a metal through his right shoulder. How the pain burned him. He remained silently ill in front of the pistol in front of him. Blood leaked out as he forced his massacred shoulder around. On a pile of scraps and metal, stood Julie, laughing. Laughing. The man walked over to Julie, and kneeled. “I am sorry, miss, I was unable to fulfill my assassin duty." Julie just glared forward. She then effortlessly stepped down from the pile, and trotted over to Lylla, who lay frightened by the violence Julie brought down. "W-why?" Lylla asked in fear of violent judgment. She laughed again, and then pulled the girl up violently. Julie then mugged Lylla of bubble tape, her cell phone, $20, and a train ticket that she had. Lylla spouted tears as El lay wounded on the dirt ground. The assassin walked way with his gun and metal name tag, as Julie rummaged through El's stuff. With effort, Lylla got up, tripping over her strangled clothes, and marched over to the entrance of the junkyard. As she got closer, a fragrance of blood became more and more abundant. As she turned a corner, she saw the assassin, dead on the dirt paving.

Lylla stared in horrible, screaming fright. She stepped back, turned around and saw El, injured and in fear of light.

All Lylla could do............was scream..............

Chapter 5: Follow by the reaper

About 7 days after the attack, El awoke in a small hospital bed, in a small hospital room. He weakly sat up, and looked around in fear. A small camera was placed on the wall in the south-east corner. El looked around again, seeing some of his belongings were placed on tables and night stands. He bent to the bed side to lift himself, but the cased shot on his shoulder disabled the fact that the bed side could not be a variable in his hope to get up. He wrestled himself to obtain a picture that lay at his bedside. It was the picture of him and Julie, except the "Julie" part was ripped out. He clenched his feeble fist, remembering that Lylla had been attacked too. The camera on the wall began to beep and sputter, as the lamps in the unlit room began to flicker. The door swung open, and El looked in fear, as layers of purple smoke began to clear from the door. A wrinkled man walked his hunched back into the room. In a crackling voice he said, "I'm afraid your time has to end. That bullet wound is infected, and the bullet is moving through the bloodstream and is to reach the heart in minutes.." He looked down in low leveled sympathy. He pointed towards the camera, and lifted his head, not even facing El. "the X-ray camera has told us of your fate." El stared at the fatal future ahead. Tears dropped from his eyes. "Why sir?" El asked in sorrow. "No surgery could have been one. We didnt find your body until 3 days after the incident. The most we could ever do was call the police, and let you die in peace." said the man.
He reached into his pocket, and pulled out a syringe. He held it to El's neck. He put pressure to it and that was final....

"good luck........"

Chapter 6: Vengance, revenge, avenge

Lylla stood proudly on Gailmos Tower, a large tower in the west part of the city. Many other tourists collected the view of the lake and city lights. Of course, Lylla could think of nothing more then to avenge El. Even though she barely new him..... she had a feeling to take revenge, for him...

Lylla had nothing more to her but a rusty pocket knife and an old card that she used to pick locks.
She was ready to move. Shge ran down the spiral stairs to the streets and over to the block where she lived. She quickly climbed into a window of her house and hit the power button of a new laptop.
She researched every Julie in the violent state of Alchem. Though she knew a lot of things about Alchem, she knew she would end up with search results for other states on that island. There was one apartment building that she knew must of been it. 73 Grove st. She rushed to the area, holding her hand to the knife that lay in her denim dress pocket. She clenched her fists, ready to fight, as she entered the sliding blue doors. The place was surprisingly cleanly, and sparkled to sight. For such a party place, you expected it to be a little dirtier, even just in the lobby.
Lylla walked up the stairs and stopping on every floor aasking "Hello, is there a Julia here?"
She never did get a straight answer. As she reached the C floor, she approached room C23, where Lylla could hear booming of music. Lylla rolled her eyes and walked over to the door. Then, she remembered what had happened to El, the assassin, and what almost happened to her. She stayed strong, readying herself if this was really the Julie that El used to date, the Julie that almost killed El, the Julie that was about to be scarred.
Lylla straightened her fear ridden face and banged on the thin wooden door. The music stopped and the door opened. There stood a tall, tattered man, looking drunk and vulnerable. The moment of vulnerability was over, the man swung his fist at Lylla whom shrieked at the violent act. She ducked and stabbed the man's legs with the rusted pocket knife. The man fell, tying to cover up his bloody legs. A girl screamed from the other side of the room, and ran to the man. Julie. Julie than gave a sinister grin as she saw Lylla. She held a pistol to Lylla's forehead. Lylla dropped her pocket knife to the shock from the cold tipped gun... "Please don't hurt me... please....." Lylla shuttered. Julie laughed and put her finger on the trigger. Lylla didnt know what to do. She was to frightened to even move, let alone breathe. She dove to the left, as Julie pulled the trigger. The bullet skimmed Lylla's ear, causing blood to leak onto the rug of the hallway. Lylla picked up the knife she had dropped and aim to stab Julie, but missed, She kept trying, trying to stab, trying to dodge bullets. Lylla then screamed "STOP!!!" The two stopped, gasping heavily for air. "Why Julie *gasp*, why *gasp* wou;ld you try to kill *gasp* El?"
Julie chuckled. He knew something from our relationship that no one could know. I didnt love him anymore, so I dumped him. From anger he obviously would have told somebody." Julie laughed and then said, "He's probably in a hospital bed somewhere, dying!!" She laughed at it, and Lylla became outraged. Julie stopped laughing, and gave a bored and angry frown. Without changing her expression, she held up the pistol again.

She pulled the trigger, only to bring one event.........

Chapter 7: Rampage

The cold syringe slowly pushed onto El's neck. He began to quaver in fear of death. He screamed. He pushed the old man to the floor and jumped off the bed. He gasped for air as he went more and more insane. He didn't know what had come over him. He couldn't control himself. He ran out the door as the camera flashed the alarm signal. As El ran, he spotted a lightly armed police officer. El jumped and the knocked the man down. He stole the gun from the man, got up, and started to run again. As he ran, he shot every opposing obstacle in his way. The carnage count raised, as doctors rushed to help their wounded comrades. No one could stop him, his thoughts faded to the past thoughts he had had. The memory of Julie ran into his head again. Because of his lack of control, he thought that the thoughts and memories he had, were present thoughts. He thought that his relation with Julie still lasted....

*****************************************************************************

Lylla and Julie were still fighting, with a crushed pistol on the floor, and a fainted man lay beside them. A cold, rusted knife, creating death, had dropped onto the man once again, except it stayed there. Julie, having the advantage, fought with a short, chrome pipe, while Lylla held her left hand to her bloody chest, as a bullet coursed through her. A bang from below stopped them. El running up the stairs, using the little present memory he had, yelled, "I'm sorry Julie!! I want to hear your voice again!!" Julie paused. She chuckled, and pushed Lylla to the ground, as El ran up to her.

"well.... then I have full control of this fool, I mean El".....

Chapter 8: Hypnotized by memory

El's eyes were blank with little expression. He just stared in hypnotised awe at Julie, who haughtily flipped her blonde hair. Lylla tried to get up and snap El out of it, but she was to weak. Julie hugged El and walked him into the room. Lylla watched as Julie grabbed a small device. Julie then knocked an oblivious El into the wall. He eyes went wide as his head hit the paper covered concrete walls. He rapidly blinked, and then looked at Julie. His memories returned, he swung his fist at Julie, who held the device in front of here face. She chuckled, an then activated the device. A flash emitted, blinding El. Lylla saw in fright, that the device used on El, wiped his memory.

El, then again, stood emotionless before Julie.  Lylla coughed, alarming Julie that Lylla still was breathing. El, without memory of even knowing Lylla said to Julie, "Don't worry Julie, I've got this". Julie silently laughed as El walked to the door, readied with an iron bar, that Julie had for this specific occasion. El approached Lylla, and then swung the bar down. Before it could hit her, Lylla rolled with little strength, out of the way. She limped to her feet, and then tried to run, but El struck her back. Julie approached El, "Don't worry sweety, I have this one. Go back inside." El smiled and walked into the room, closing the fragile door behind him. "Why? I thought you said he knew something no one else could know!" Julie jokingly kicked a Lylla, who had fallen when struck. "If I kill anyone he could end up in love with, I won't have a worry. When I knew you moved to this rown, I had this all planned. You two would eventually stick together, simply forming a bigger target." Julie pulled out a tiny, one bullet assassin's gun, and fired it at Lylla's stomach.
