Re: Join the crew for my biggest game yet!

To be honest, not many people are going to want to download a mediafire file just to play a laggy sonic remake. If you want more space to create, I suggest you just take the time to learn actionscript and work with flash.

Too bad when it's an exe it is a boat load less laggy.

aw... then i can't play  sad
you know, some people have ALL macs at their home.
Windows

Not
Everything  tongue

Then maybe I can find someone who can convert the sb file.

or, you can just make an app file.
anyways, you can have as much memory as you want with that, but it'll be laggy

How am I gonna turn it into an app if I have PC? I think I would have to send the sb to someone with a mac so they can convert it...if they even can.

Regardless, your game would turn out 10x better if you learned flash. Not to mention the fact that you'd get more views, feedback, and experience with flash.

Also, you're not even going to get half of the low amount of views you'd get anyway from posting on scratch, because its a lot more convenient to just play from a webpage, than downloading a file for a sonic remake that they could play by just searching "Sonic" in the right places.

Too bad 2.0 is flash based, so I could post it on Newgrounds or something. And I can't do flash. And I'm not paying for it. So I'm sticking with Scratch. I'm not some nerd. I can't use flash.

Haha, no, you can not upload scratch projects to any flash sharing website. And what makes you think flash is for nerds? Programming languages can be difficult to learn, but it is worth it. I suggest that you try the 30 day trial. And even if you could upload scratch projects to flash...it wouldn't have the slightest chance to beat even an averagely made flash creation.

No, in 2.0 you can. Scratch online will be flash based. And yes, a nerd does flash. A nerd isn't a bad thing, it just means you know a whole lot about something. And, I can't really program well. And what do I do once the trial goes away?

Re: Join the crew for my biggest game yet!

Well, I was unaware if you really can use scratch for flash files, but still, people would rather play real flash than something made with a very limited program. And I use flash, and I'm actually alright with it, but am not a nerd. Also, if you can't program well, that's why you take a few months to get a hang of things. Learn basics to advanced actionscript, and then start making serious things. And scratch actually does give you a good start with flash, as scratch is like a simplified and limited version of flash.

You can't currently use them for flash files, but you can after 2.0 comes out.
