Sound Effect

Like Graphic Effects but for sound!

You could have:
Speed: Higher is faster and lower is slower.
Pitch: Higher is higher and Lower is lower
Echo: Higher makes it more echoy
Electric Fan: Higher makes it more... Electric fan like
Transiever: Higher adds more grainy sounds

Like it?

Re: Sound Effect

Sounds great! It might be a little hard to implement, but what's life without a few dragons?

Re: Sound Effect

Great idea! I've heard lots of other suggestions for different sound effect blocks - but I personally like this one the best! Because it doesn't take up too many blocks (only 2), and it's easy to understand because it's based off the other one!

Non-Fiction.

And anyway, these ideas are great! I love them!

Maybe the effects would be drop down, or is that what you expected?

It would be like the graphic effect blocks. Set, Change, and Clear. Set and Change with drop downs. Any ideas for other effects?

Re: Sound Effect

Yeah. I find it kind of a hassle from doing sound editing in audacity and then saving so I can put it on a scratch project. I want it so you can do it all in the scratch editor, so I really support this idea.

Re: Sound Effect

Awesome idea! I hate putting things into Audacity and then exporting them. I would suggest a reverse effect too.

Reverse would be epic!

Re: Sound Effect

What if the speed effect reverses the sound if it goes into negatives?

That would be awesome.  big_smile

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Great ideas!  smile

This would be great for music engines and such... more variation.

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.
