Is 2500 a maximum for the "Set X to" command?

I've been thinking about why my scrolling game isn't working right. My scrollX variable can go to 2500 and beyond, so I now know that isn't the problem.

Anyways, is there a maximum of how high a number can go on the 'Set X to' command? I used 'set X to' to a number higher than 2500, and the land will not scroll any further until my scrollX variable is back under 2500.

So, does anybody know if this is the problem, or what the problem is? and if so, is there any idea of how I could fix it?

Why are you using 2500? It seems like an overly large number to use while scrolling, and you will have problems with exceeding x-coordinate limits. Maybe you should check out a scrolling tutorial, there are a lot here: (link to gallery)
Good Luck!  wink
