Who was the very first member of the Scratch team and are they still using Scratch?
Offline
Well it's hard to say who is the "very first" member of the Scratch Team - after all, a team is a group of people who collaborate together on different things, which in this case is Scratch - so there's no exact "first".
However, the best answer I can give, is Mitchell Resnick (his account is mres). This is because he created Scratch (just see his page on wikipedia). And yes - he does still use Scratch, as he is still the main director, and I saw him at Scratch Day

1. I think you mean "he's still using Scratch"
2. Although you may be right as far as technical terms on the website, he's just the website developer, and he's not necessarily the "first Scratch Team member"; after all, he just works on the website

*facepalm*
Read my other posts
I don't think "Neo" is an actual human Scratch Team member.

Did you go to the Scratch 2.0 Brainstorm?

Yeap.
Wasn't it cool? I like the ideas the people gave!
The only thing that ticked me off was how one user (I think I know his Scratch username, but I'm not going to say) said something like this:
Scratch was totally made for macs - after all, when you think about Scratch, you think about Macs. So why did you make it so you can only export to .exe's on Windows? It's quite a flaw in your logic.
Something around that. I mean, really - Scratch was made neither for specifically Linux, Mac, or Windows - it was made for all of them, and so it can be universally used - I don't think it was designed for either specific system.

Mitch is the supreme creator for sure. Andresmh I heard is the creator of the website. I went to the scratch 2.0 Brainstorm as well! Hey gershmer! (And I think scratch came out for the PC first, although I don't like them.)

I got kind of angry when he said that, I do prefer macs but I don't believe there should be any computeristism in scratch. And btw his name is Adam, his username is Gamedawg and we go to the same robotics camp

Mitch was the driving force behind Scratch, but the first "user" ever is wrgsfhwbxvb. Proof? Look here: http://scratch.mit.edu/users/showfriends/1

He escaped the Matrix so all proof that he was here was erased

That has nothing to do with this topic.

There are some very cool suggestions in that project! Maybe, if you start a topic up in the Suggestions Forum, then link to it from there, more people will see it and like it - I certainly like some of those ideas!

When I think about scratch I think about the number 1 and the phrase "frames per second"
