Okami....Help?
So I really want to get Okami for my 12th birthday (June 2nd). The problem is it's not really called a kid's game, and my parents are strict, so any advice to persuade them? It's really not a bad game ¬¬ I just need input......

Just say "The only really bad thing in it, is they mention rum a few times. There isn't any blood, and it isn't bad at all." By the way Okami is a brilliant game. Get the PS2 Version though. The wii controls are finicky.

It says "blood and gore." I can explain that it doesn't have any....?
And Soup, I like it because of the art direction, gameplay, and plot. Might get it tommorow if I can convince my stubborn mom.

Oh right. There is barely any. The most blood you will see is some flickers of black coming out of enemies or a red screen. Most blood isn't allowed to be in a
T rated game.

Hmm...show them some gameplay videos on youtube so they could judge for themselves? I've watched a few just now... doesn't seem gory at all.

It's mostly the themes it has.
I've played the game twice over from beginning to end and I have to say, the partial nudity and themes are what earns it its teen rating.
And yeah when you slash an enemy it sprays a little blood and when you are hit a splatter of blood hits the screen.
