Because we had two consecutive snow days in February this year, my school cut out part of Memorial Day weekend, so I have to go to school tomorrow T_T
So during the weekend, me and my family went to Hershey park and had a great time. We went on a lot of rides including Vortex, Riptide, Tidal Force, Comet, Lightning Racer, Roller Soaker, Fender Bender, and more. We also stayed at a nice hotel, visited the Hershey Chocolate Factory, the Indian Echo Caves, and took a tour of the town.
Also on Friday and Thursday, the entire grade had to go to an etiquette field trip for a test grade. It was split up into two days, half the grade on one day and half the grade on the other. However, the smarter people (like me) decided not to go, because they teach the same thing for the two days. Because I didn't go on the trip at all, I did all the work one day, and got to relax in school the entire Friday after that.
How was your Memorial Day vacation?

Wut? In MN everyone has to go to school tommorow and we never get snow days.....
I went to Forestville State Park down by Iowa. We went tubing, swam, and generally tried to cool off in the high 80s. Tons of bugs, thunderstorm, no DS, drawing, the drill. Kind of fun still, although now my mom doesn't want to go shopping for a DSi or video game for my birthday.

Hersheypark is so epic
I played mini-golf, had a ton of ice cream, went geocaching (see http://www.geocaching.com/ to find out what it is), and went to our county heritage museum to see a Civil War exhibit. It was a really good weekend.

Oh, I saw the place with Mini golf and an ice cream store at the side. I didn't go there because we went straight to the Indian Echo Caves, which were down that road.

Mmm... Chocolate...
I went to trombone camp over the weekend. It was quite fun.
We played trombone (a lot) but also did a Stompish song on brooms and trashcans and another song on instruments we made ourselves (mine was made of PVC pipe).
We left Friday afternoon and came back yesterday afternoon.

I don't think it was the same place that I went to, because I'm a few hours away from Hersheypark. I was just there a few weeks ago for the music competition.

I've been to both of them. Did you see the 3d show? It's basically a commercial that you pay to see.

No I didn't see the 3D show, we didn't have enough time to. We did get the tour on the trolley around town though, ate some food, bought some souvenirs and designed our own candy.

I've been to both Hershey parks.
I went to Mesker Park Zoo, and complained that we go to Holiday World every year and we should go ride the Wildebeest. We saw some monkeys fight, it was awesome, they were hopping all around. Then we went to Golden Corral ate lunch, and then I got Quidditch Through The Ages and Fantastical Beasts And Where To Find Them at Barnes & Nobles.
