Scratch, by the numbers (and a few lists)

I got bored and decided to count various things that not very many other people bothered to count.

NOTE: The following numbers were counted on Scratch 1.4, if you are using an earlier version, or a modification, these numbers will be inaccurate.

Looks: 17
Sound: 13
Pen: 11
Control: 16
Sensing: 17
Operators: 17
Variables: 12
-Variables: 4
-Lists: 8
ALL: 119
AVERAGE: 11.9 (rounded to 12)

NUMBER OF TYPES OF BLOCKS:

[command] Command: 63
(reporter)  Reporter: 26 (no variables, because variables can change the numbers)
<boolean>. Boolean: 13
[hat block] Hat: 4
[C shaped] C: 5

AVERAGE: 19.333... (rounded to 19)


NUMBER OF SCRATCH VERSIONS:

Official Scratch Releases: 13 (1.0/1.0.1/1.0.2/1.1/1.2B/1.2/1.2.1/1.3/1.3.1/1.4B/1.4RC/1.4/1.4.1)

Unofficial Scratch Releases: 1 (NetScratch)

Very good! What are special blocks, though?  hmm  You might find the Scratch Stats website helpful in this, too.

That would have helped. The only information I did get from it was the top used blocks.  big_smile

Cool, that must of taken a long time to count up. How did you get the top used blocks? Just guesses?
