It is your desicion but if I were you I would consider this.
You come in here about 3 weeks ago and already have a project on the front page. Now you are complaining about how no one appreciates you. That is what I take from it. Now, there are many people on here who have been here months, maybe years and have never gotton on the front page. You are really lucky. Just consider that.

I've been on once, then quickly removed because it was getting negative comments. And FYI, this isn't Sliverkey, it's Berryfeather (you keep mentioning front page, and Sliverkey is currently there)

I am pretty sure that I saw 2 of her projects on it at the same time a couple of days ago.

People, the forums are NOT the place to carry out personal attacks on one another. In fact, there really isn't a place in Scratch for carrying out personal attacks, they don't belong here.
If you have an issue with another member, use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.
Berryfeather, it isn't really any of my business, but possibly Silverkey17 responded negatively to your spamming his/her front page project with your project.

I was featured once, and never again, but I don't give up, because I know that if I continue to make projects, I might get featured again and even get to top viewed and top loved. Just remember: keep on trying, even if you fail the first time.

Okay, I was online durning part of the fight and I saw most of the demeaning comments. I think all of this spawned from a misunderstanding. I think that silverkey17 thought your project was like a lot of other peoples projects where they say they are leaving just to get attention. This made her upset because she was one of your friends and couldn't believe you were sinking to the level of making up things just to get attention. Then she posted her view on the matter. You say that that is not true whether it is or isn't and silverkey17 knows that is what everyone who makes those projects to make attention say so she doesn't believe you. Then the debate degenerates down to insulting and finally this forum post. I think you should make up with silverkey17 and keep in mind scratch is not a place for fighting.

I'm sorry if you don't feel that I have been nice. I do not know all the facts of your fight with Silverkey17. I was viewing Silverkey17's project and I saw your spam link to your project from her/his. I saw your personal attack topic in the Forum. Those two facts were enough to catch my attention. I admit that I am a bit upset over all the confusion you have been causing on the site recently. I hope you are feeling sufficiently appreciated now.
Now, let's see if we can step back a bit and review what the purpose of this web site is: To learn Scratch and have fun doing it. To share projects that other's can enjoy and learn from. Let's see if we can get back to those purposes, okay?

Lovely reminder...
...and if some of you are seeking additional acknowledgment, there are some ways to gain positive (as opposed to negative) attention from your peers while helping to contribute to our community:
Acknowledging others is a great way to get acknowledged...here are some specific ways to do that:
---> Asking questions about other members projects will enlighten you while making them feel acknowledged
---> Seeking advice from other members will advance your learning and demonstrate your appreciation and admiration for their expertise
---> Starting galleries is a great way to showcase your preferences in projects while paying homage to your peers & their work
---> Posting comments or suggestions on others projects/galleries/forums will make them recognize you while letting them feel appreciated
Assisting others is another great way to get acknowledged, here are some specific ways to do that:
---> Starting forum threads for constructive conversations is a great way to reach out to the community at large
---> Answering questions and offering advice to other members will help them out and give them a reason to respect you
---> Creating projects for remixing, offering sprites to share, and generally encouraging others to use your materials is a great way to gain respect from your peers while assisting them to reach their creative goals
Hope this helps

I'm not sure of Berryfeather's motives for this thread. I posted a 17 line post reminding Berryfeather to always be friendly and how I thought this was all a misunderstanding. And now that post got deleted by somebody.

I saw that post...and I appreciated your concern and advice. I don't know how it got removed - it was probably accidental - but I think we are all straightened out now. Thanks for caring!

hmmm...I haven't seen this post...and i think it is funny that she almost made me leave scratch. whatever, i'm over it, "her" lies really hurt me and made scratch un-fun for me for that period.

I think we've all seen enough of this topic. The Forums are not the place for personal comments about other users.
