Pretty slick!  I changed the red color on sprite 2 to yellow and changed the corresponding line in the script.  That way, you can run the script with sprite 2 showing so you can see how it works.  If you don't change the color, the black ball hits the red part of sprite 2 and acts weird.

Be sure to hold onto it, the project has been changed significantly. The sensor idea wasn't quite fast enough or even accurate to work correctly.
