Deleting exported sprites

GAH! My PC is getting so slow because I can't delete exported sprites! I really need a way to delete them. I looked at previous pages on this and they didn't help because they weren't explained clearly. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!  mad

If you're using Microsoft Windows, search for ".sprite" and all of the sprite files on your computer should show up. You can then delete them as you please by clicking on them and pressing "delete." (If you have Vista, search your computer in ways other than the Start Menu search - click on the link at the bottom and it should pop up in a new window.)

I searched .sprite in documents and nothing came up! I do have a Vista though. How do I search in different ways?
