There will be an online "demo" version that does not include any of the new blocks, but if you want them (the new blocks), you will have to use the offline version.

that's completely true, the whole idea of this OS is to use my custom blocks and being able to save stuff to the memory. you would need a cache online and you'd have to edit the java player applet JAR file, which i can't do.

Oh, darn. It seems like all the testing positions are full.

yes, the beta version has been released ages ago to the testers only. i will release gamma soon, available to testers, then the final release.
