We really need one of these because I saw a user with a profile picture that involved nudity. I had to scour through the user's several favorites to find a comment he/she made, and that work could be easily avoided with a "report user" button.

There is a "Contact us" button at the very bottom of the page. You can tell them about the user or any other inappropriate behavior if there is no specific button for it.

When you click the button, you should be asked to type in the reason for reporting the user. smile

Yeah. You should use the contact us button there. A choice is "Reporting User".

That would be good too - even though all these cases (including stuff there already is a button for) can be done with the Contact Us button, it would be much more convenient to have a button; you just click it and leave.

I support the buttons for all those areas as well. smile

What if the user finds out and quickly alters it so it looks like you framed him? Or the whole thing was a malicious setup to get people banned? However, I support this

People already report projects for no reason. They'll just get a message and if they keep doing it, get temp. banned. Having it would be fine.

Also, it would take a little effort they could be putting into Scratch 2.0...

They just want a button to report a user on their my stuff page, for like a bad avatar or name.

Well, you could use "Contact Us." I feel like that if there was a button for reporting a user, it would get abused if someone was mad at a user or something.

lol i got that message once and i thought it was something that needed to be reported.
Luckilly that day i got a message from the scratch team saying that they had a mix up and to ignore that comment
