cancer is a life threatening disease but it doesn't always kill, stay strong and your aunt may come out of this! and @ waveosbeta, you can't exactly get a lung transplant, who would be a donor?

Not to raise false hopes...and I admit up front that I am not a doctor and have no expertise in the area of lung cancer...but lung transplants do take place so donors must exist.
Good luck to your Aunt and to you and your family in these stressful circumstances.

Anyway, I'm sorry for you, but just be strong and try to remind yourself that people can survive cancer.
