How To Connect via Mesh to A Computer NOT ON YOUR NETWORK

(This in Misc. because it is not finished)

1. Go into computer 1's router settings (usually http://192.168.1.1 and forward Port _____ to the computer with Scratch
2. Repeat for computer 2 (to prove it works, put it on a diff. network)
3. Go to http://DynDNS.com and set up aliases for both networks external IP addresses (Ex. network 1 = 12.34.56.78 = network1.dnsdojo.net and network 2 = 78.65.43.21 = network2.dnsdojo.net )
4. Connect to network2.dnsdojo.net on computer 1 and network1.dnsdojo.net on computer 2 in scratch.
5. try mesh

UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME TO TRY THIS ON MY OWN AND CALL IT A DONE DEAL, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT PORT MESH OPERATES ON

Hamachi is much easier. Just connect, get the hamachi IP and hey presto, mesh game!  big_smile

How does that work without port forwarding on the correct port?

It won't work until I know what port Mesh operates on,

I don't know, but it works wonders. It's a VPN service.

It's easier, and you can go online with other players. I posted a guide on how to do this also.
