What if you had a Scratch E-Mail address? For example, iCode-747@scratchuser.com.
It would be public messaging. For example, you could send people Scratch projects that you don't want to upload yet.
And anyone could read your messages. Everything would be transparent.
That way, you could send somebody a message that everybody could read, but not on the forums or via comments.

Good idea, but I don't think emails are the way to do it - emails follow the same general nature, independent of the server you use - that's why nobody's bothered changing the @ symbol, etc. Maybe you could just send somebody a link to your project via this feature? In fact, I don't really see the point if everybody can see it - why not just use a comment feature on the user's My Stuff page?

I think he means something like comments on the MyStuff page instead of just projects.
