The best and worst games so far this year
2010 PEOPLE 2010, NOT ANY OTHER YEAR. Thanks 
What do you think the best and worst games were this year? Please state a reason. This would be my list.

Good:
Splinter cell conviction - Though it's not like the Sam Fisher we knew, this action game is still very fun
Red dead redemption - The wild west in a sandbox style? This is a whole lode of fun
Battlefield bad company 2 - Online is pretty much better than MW2
Alan (a)wake (I just call it that) - If you create a nice atmosphere eg: Lights out, at night, this game can be a very creepy experience
Split second - Racing while buildings, flameballs and exploding cars are flying around you? How fun can you get?
Blur - A racing game that still never gets boring
Just cause 2 - Blowing up stuff got more fun. Parachuting did too
Metro 2033 - With the dark, post-apocolyptic atmosphere dominates the game, with mutants and other types of enemies awaits you in this dark, fast paced game. (Thanks half_life2)
Super Mario Galaxy 2 - With the inclusion of Yoshi, and powerups for both Mario and the green dinosaur, exploring space is now more fun then ever. (Thanks soupoftomato)
Mod Nation Racers - Great graphics, fun multiplayer, a lot of customization, and a lot of challenges, it is the best kart racer I have played. (Thanks Adringl)
I need a better reason for blur. I haven't played on it, only watched the gameplay vids. 
Bad:
Command and conquer 4 - While leveling up is a fun feature, for an RTS game it doesn't work when you've got missions that require better units to win, skirmishes are fairly good, but the population limit is bad not only for a lack of fun, but it makes it impossible to have a lead, when you attack an enemy crawler you'll have equal sized armies, so combat is exactly fair (Thanks DingDong)

I've removed alpha protocol after playing it the second time. I don't think it's bad though. Any reasons to combat this?

But seriously just because it has that doesn't mean it's bad. Blood makes it better. Shooting people isn't clean fun. I say little kids should know this.

So far this YEAR people. Unfortunatly, L4D2 and Bioshock 2 don't count.
Just cause 2... I thought it was ok... give me a reason and I probably will add.
Oh, and just for the hell of it, I'll add "the best game (singular, not plural) of all time.

Edit: I have to agree with lowno there. Just because there is blood, swearing and violence in it, it doesn't make it bad (as in the rating of fun) in the game. Though it's sometimes unneccessary, it gets you closer to the game.

Good:

Bad:
Modern Warfare 2: The single player was hard to understand since the story was abit shallow. The multiplayer was fun, but for a while. Then it was then Rush>Point>Shoot> Repeat.

-in C&C 4 Kane never really allied with anything, if you haven't noticed he is obviously of the scrin, he made notions in the C&C 3 expansion and several times in C&C 4, he only used Nod and GDI to get access to the resources he needed to use a scrin tower to portal back home
-EA does not suck in what games it makes, some suck, some don't, what about C&C 3? that got high scores from many reviewers, and BBC2 is in a way better than MW2 since it has the all famous conquest mode
this is my revision of the C&C 4 review
