Really, the forum blocks are ugly. I want something like Scratch right below the 'post new topic' writing area. You could take a picture of your scripts and put it right in your post!
Maybe even the ability for you to take scripts from projects you've uploaded and put them right in your forum posts!
What do you think?
To tell you the truth, I have no idea how to use the forum blocks.

The Scratch Team could update them. They are the blocks of Scratch 1.0.1 (I have it!).
The <color [] is touching []?> block is <color [] is over []?>.
And I miss the ask blocks.
But when I want REALLY good blocks, I take an image of them in Scratch and put it in here.

Supported!
They need updating - no ask block, the operators section is still called "numbers", the absolute block isn't a dropdown with all the functions, there isn't a "rest () seconds" block... and they're all odd sizes...
I'd say, update them, or remove them...

I just take pictures of my scripts in Scratch and Alpha them!
I never use them... Use your godly power, sire, to try to remove them!
EDIT: 888th post! *screenshot*

I agree.

I agree. I do not know how to make invisible backgrounds on pictures, so I need better blocks.

1. I'm a girl.
Not a "sire"
2. I don't have mod powers until next Thursday.
3. I'm not sure if mods can do that, anyway...

If you right click the script assembly area, and select "save picture of scripts" it does it automatically
Then you can upload directly to tinypic or whereever - no editing required

• The blocks need to be updated for Scratch 1.4. Meh, they'll probably wait till 2.0 - otherwise they'll have to update twice.
• The blocks look horrible!
Well, at least they 'snap' together...
• Maybe we could have a script editor on the forums, where we could build scripts and get them in posts? Once the script is done, it would be uploaded to an image hosting website and we would be given the link. And the script background would be the same color as posts. (Credit to illusionist for the idea.)

I always do ASCII art like this:
,_______________
|when |* clicked|
|forever if <key {a} pressed?>]
| |[switch to costume {attack}]
| ||repeat (10)]
| || |[change x by (10)
| || |[wait (0.1) secs]
| ||__________]
| |[switch to costume {normal}]
|___________________________]
It takes a long time though.

Wow... That's... Wow. I must say, I'm impressed. It would take up a ton of bandwidth and space, though, so I'm not entirely sure it would be worth it.

Yeah, I know it is a pain. The blocks are sooooo outdated, and bad quality. Here's a page of all the recent scratch blocks, but it is still a hassle to copy and paste all of the img code.

I support completely. And what's with the bold that you can't get rid of after <clear> blocks????????

You have to write [/blocks] at the end to make it stop. It says right above the categories.
Anyway, updating the blocks and their looks have been suggested since 2008 at least. Yeah, we're overdue.

That's the best I've seen!
Maybe we should all just practice that...
