Hey everyone! I've been out of the "Project" game for a while, but I've been working hard to be making some projects - to be released in the fairly near future.
First off, for the past few days I've been working on a game called "Escapade," which bears an uncanny resemblance to my demo of Escape. I guess you could call this a full version of that game - it's a puzzle game. Here's a screenshot:
Also coming up, my version of the classic game SimCity - which I'll be calling Micropolis. This is a long-term project, so don't expect it to be coming out for a few more months. I've been working on it since February (on and off) and I plan to release it in the summer, when I have some more time on my hands. It's going to have full control over your city, including advanced features such as graphs, opinions on your city, maps - for things such as fire coverage, etc. It's going to be AWESOME. Screenshot:
And, finally: Glider! You probably don't know the game, but it's a classic for Macintosh System Software 6 - a 1989 version of Mac OS. It's going to be a loyal recreation, with similar graphics, even the Menu Bar at the top. Look forward to it! Screenshots:
Any ideas for further projects are greatly appreciated!

Can't wait for any of these projects! Must play them now. xD
Thanks!
You know, in my last several projects, I've been using the exact same font. And I continue to. CAN YOU IDENTIFY IT!? That's my challenge

Double agreed.
Is the paper airplane game going to be in 3D? It says, 'Gale' on the wing... Are you referring to Gale3D?

I was just wondering; how'd you get that dot effect for value in Glider? It's awesome!

Nah, it's not That'd be really hard to make.

I actually just took screenshots of the real game, which I ran through Mini vMac. You can run all version of Mac OS up until version... 8, I think!
Of course, the images aren't ENTIRELY pirated. I did edit them to fit the Scratch screen size, given that the default screen size for early Macintosh computers was *slightly* larger than the Scratch windows For example, in the Glider title screen, the pencil was not in fact below the glider. You could have drawn a vertical line between them. The side of the table was also further off

I thought about Glider... Are you going to have power and angle values so people can control the flight of their plane?
Well, I'm intending it to be an almost exact duplicate of the original - which unfortunately doesn't have that. You are moving down at a constant speed in the original, and you just get to control left and right movement - which is also at a constant velocity, +/-. Up and down movement is controlled by your surroundings, e.g. if you are directly overtop of a vent, you move up, etc. You lose if you hit certain obstacles such as tables, light switches, etc, and you can move throughout the house. The goal of the game is to stay in flight for as long as possible.

Those all look awesome! When I first saw that Escapade one, it reminded me of Factory Escape by newareagle.

That was in fact the inspiration behind the original "Escape!" project that I made, upon which this is based. However, there are going to be different types of blocks in my particular version (each with their own select properties) which heightens the originality of the project. Also, of course, it'll be my own levels. Also, the styling of the project is quite different.
Thanks!

I have also started (thinking of) a new project, which will involve elevators in some way or another
