Re: Cube 2- The sequel

Well considering the amount of time I put into Cube 2, the only reason the first is better is because it's the original.

Re: Cube 2- The sequel

Hm, well I just tried it online and it's pretty slow, so it looks like downloading will be neccesary (I took it back off, I was testing online speed.)

13 levels done...
I might want some beta testers, so just post if you want and I'll choose 3 people.

Re: Cube 2- The sequel

I'd love to beta test  smile  I strongly admired the first cube! That's no obligation that you have to choose me, though - I don't really mind.

Re: Cube 2- The sequel

ok, well you can if Jonathanpb doesn't respond by the time I'm done.  He is the one who got cube featured, so I figure he deserves to be a beta tester if he wants...

Re: Cube 2- The sequel

Looking forward to it! The original cube game was loads of fun! Took a little while to figure out movement, but was my own lack of understanding, not the programmer's fault.

Congrats on all the interest in the sequels!

Re: Cube 2- The sequel

NOOOOOO!  I just made the 15th level last night and a stupid sprite just decides to stop working now I've been working to get that fixed and might not be able to post Cube 2 for even longer!

Re: Cube 2- The sequel

Don't worry... take your time - we'd rather have a quality cube 2 that took a while than a not-as-good cube 2 that was done quickly.  smile

Re: Cube 2- The sequel

But if you've played it, you'd know it's really the only game that deserves the title cube.

Re: Cube 2- The sequel

@AtomicBawm3:

I'm new to scratch and just downloaded your first Cube games.  It's really good, and when I looked at the scripts they are simpler than I would have guessed they would be, which means you put a lot of thought into what you did.  I have a request for Cube 2, though.  Would you mind putting plenty of comment blocks into your scripts describing what you are doing, what each variable is being used for, etc.?  If Cube2 is anything like your first one, it will be a great example for people to learn from and comments will help us quite a bit.

Thanks for the great work!  smile

Well considering the fact that Cube 2 already requires a download to run, and comments make projects lag, tat might not be a priority.  hmm
