Be patient. Spam is not a good thing to do while you wait.

The-Whiz hasn't updated that thread since March...
So it's unlikely that he'll update it now... I don't celebrate my post count anymore... It's quality, not quantity, that matters to me when I make my posts

I don't think he would mind if we mods updated?

Be patient
We're not mods until Thursday, and even then, we'd have to ask him first. He replied to a comment a week ago on his latest project, so he's not "gone" completely... maybe he'll give you permission, maybe not
Just noticed that last line in your signature... Unlucky!

I wonder why the scratch team hasn't asked me to be a mod!

-you never asked
-If you did, they might not have chosen you
-If they did, you might not have won the vote

It basically went like this:
1. Members who were interested in becoming moderators posted speeches on a topic in Announcements.
2. The Scratch Team checked how helpful all these people were. A few met together to see which people would make the best mods.
3. The Scratch Team picked eight nominees:
- fullmoon
- Wolfie1996 (c'est moi!
)
- illusionist
- coolstuff
- demosthenes
- juststickman
- Dazachi
- TheSaint
4. We all got very excited! (well, I did
)
5. We posted campaigns in Miscellaneous, signatures, etc.
6. We posted like mad in New Members, All About Scratch, Suggestions and Troubleshooting, trying to help as many people as possible.
7. We made mistakes, and corrected each other a lot. Here is the era of The List mistakes. And the era of me putting The List in italics
8. Voting began! Many struggled over who to vote for in which order. Steps 6 and 7 continued.
9. Voting closed! We were all anxious to find out the four new moderators, and "Good luck!" was one of the most popular phrases. Many nominees continued helping.
10. The four Community Mods were announced by Lightnin! They were:
- coolstuff
- Wolfie1996 (
)
- illusionist
- Dazachi
11. fg123 and I went around congratulating everyone. Although I beat him to it by seconds
Then, I went back to helping, until the other mods-to-be came. Then t'was *mod high-five*s for all. Speaking of which, I never *mod high-five*ed illusionist. So just pretend that I did that right now.
12. (this is now) We wait anxiously for Thursday, to use our mod powers for the next four months, until the next election... When we'll be de-modded, so some new mods can have a go...

We don't get de-modded unless the Scratch team sees fit that we are. If one of us doesn't hold up to the Moderator Code That I Just Made Up, they de-mod us, or if we become inactive. Otherwise, we could theoretically be moderators forever.

There's an Announcements forum up top. It only gets posted in sparingly however, so don't be expecting a new announcement every week.
Hope that helps!

Whoops! I was tired yesterday, so maybe that explains the inaccuracy... Or I misread the page about Community Mods... Being a mod forever would be cool, though
