Yep, I'm afraid allowing users to change their usernames is impossible. A lot of the structure of Scratch is based on the username staying constant.. it would be really hard to make it changeable. A ton of work, with not so much benefit...
But if you are tired of your username, you can always make a new one, then download your projects from the old account and share it to the new one.
Help Scratchers make the leap to 2.0!
