Or, tell the Scratch Team what your old account was, then they could check your IP to make sure you're telling the truth (I know you probably wouldn't lie, but some people might - you can't be too careful!), and if you are, maybe you'll get elected next time 

I did something similiar; I contacted them with my old account.

The Scratch forums are really all I use on this site now, so it could have been interesting, but meh

  It'll be the same for me, I think... I go by GMT, and I'm not allowed on after 9pm, which is 4pm EST... Ah well - patience is a virtue!
