Riot Shielding.

1. Here a a few things to keep in mind

A. Though terrible for your Kills/Deaths ratio, riot shielding is incredibly fun, especially if you are in a silly mood.

B. It's not the best weapon or tactic to use if you care about your KD, rank etc

C. The riot shield doesn't protect you all the way round. Sounds silly really but people always stand in the middle of an open battle hoping for the best. Fail. 

2. Setup

A. Perk 1:  Marathon, One Man Army, - Ok this doesn't matter. Marathon, if you're feeling silly and want to run about, One Man Army if you suddenly end up against a team of surrounders and a map which isn't ideal for rioting.

B. Perk 2: Lightweight, Cold Blooded, - Again, this doesn't matter, Lightweight like marathon. Cold blooded if you are a in a "race to nuke" battle. Though cold blooded might not be ideal for airstrike absorbing (we'll come to that later)

C: Perk 3: Commando, Ninja pro, - Commando for the melee distance, Ninja pro for the silent footsteps.

D: Riot shield - Well no really? I though we were using an acr 
Tactics explained near below.

E: Pistols, Machine pistols, Shotguns - Maybe launchers too. I've found the spas-12 to be useful if a sniper is waiting around hoping for someone to go past or whatever, then. Y, Aim, Boom. 

F: Throwing Knifes, Blast shields - Ok, we're going to avoid explosives. Explosives are the ticket to death when it comes to riot shielding, throwing knifes are the easy alternative to bashing 'em up. Blast shields are for those annoying grenades.

G: Smoke Grenades - If you use flash or stun grenades on a riot shield. The person who you are facing is going to simply jump over you, do a one eighty, and stab you in the back. So smoke grenades are the only one left.

3. Tactics.

A. Take point! - Ok, take point basically means move forward through a location.

Let's say, the estate house. We go through the front door, they shoot at us, while our teammates take them out. You'll get the crowd control score of 40.

Ok, it only works if you have teamates near you (I wondor why) and it will only work if you are entering a house or a confined area.

B: Go sit in the corner! - Basically what it says. While you are in the corner with a riot shield, you are pretty much invinsible, unless of course we get grenades or noobtubes.

C.  Taking the fight to them. - Dealing with the situation yourself.

The main tactic we're going to use is to bash people with our riot shields. Just click the right stick and once the damage crosshair appears, right stick him again. He should be nice and dead in two bashes.

Throwing knifes are good too. They are 1 hit killers. Just aim around the person and tab the rb button. Watch as the knife slices through your enemy. Don't forget to pick it up and reuse it afterwards
